CCA Chief Executive Officer Greg Stremlaw has been appointed to the Canadian Olympic Committee’s International Relations Committee by Marcel Aubut, the president of the COC. As a member of the International Relations Committee, Stremlaw will offer advice and expertise to the COC Board and CEO on international sports issues and opportunities, as well as to the various Canadian National Sports Organizations (NSOs). He is joined on the International Relations Committee by some significant players in the Olympic community, including Dick Pound of the International Olympic Committee, Charmaine Crooks of the IOC Athletes Commission and former International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation president Bob Storey. “I’m looking forward to taking on this challenge and working with some amazing people, such as Dick, Charmaine and Bob,” said Stremlaw. “It will be a valuable opportunity to broaden our organization’s scope and gain more understanding of the role of sport in the international community.”
