Qualifying for the Canada Cup of Curling

2014 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling – December 3-7 in Camrose, Alta.
2015 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling – December 2-6 in Grande Prairie, Alta.
2016 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling – November 30 – December 4 at a location to be announced.

Each event will feature seven men’s teams** and seven women’s teams, with the top team receiving the bye to the final while the second-place team will meet the third-place team in the semi finals.

** for 2015 only, we will accept an eighth men’s team as there was a virtual tie for the seventh place between John Epping and Reid Carruthers. For future editions of the Home Hardware Canada Cup, a revised tiebreaker scenario, if needed, will decide the seventh team.

In 2015, the winners will receive an invitation to the 2016 World Financial Group Continental Cup, Jan. 14-17, in Las Vegas (*) and an invitation to the 2017 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, December 2-10 in Ottawa.

In 2016, the winners will receive invitations to the 2017 World Financial Group Continental Cup, January 12-15 at a location TBA (*) and an invitation to the 2017 Tim Hortons Roar of the Rings Canadian Curling Trials, December 2-10 in Ottawa.

* – If the teams that win the Home Hardware Canada Cup have already qualified for the World Financial Group Continental Cup, the Continental Cup berth will go to the highest-ranked non-qualified team on the Canadian Team Ranking System as of the completion of the Home Hardware Canada Cup.
