Future Stars

Curling Canada events bring our country’s elite curlers to communities around the country where they display their amazing skills to fans and future stars of the sport.

The Egg Farmers Future Stars program provides young champions of tomorrow the opportunity to experience a taste of competitive curling today, while meeting with the biggest names in the sport!

The 2019 Mixed Doubles Championship is bringing the most elite curlers from all over Canada to Fredericton New Brunswick from March 19-24 and applications are now open for Little Rock and Junior curlers from New Brunswick, between the ages of 10-16 to be a Egg Farmers Future Star!

All it takes is to answer, in 50 words or less “Why you would like to be a 2019 Canadian Mixed Doubles Egg Farmers Future Star?”

Selected applicants become honorary members of one of the teams competing in the championship and receive:

  • A commemorative Egg Farmers Future Stars jacket
  • Tickets for two guests to attend the draw the Egg Farmers Future Star is featured in
  • A meet and greet to take photos with their team

But the best part is they have the chance to be at ice level during the team practice and march out with their team during the pre-game ceremony their team is featured in!

The 2019 Egg Farmers Future Stars contest is open to all New Brunswick curlers between the ages of 10-16. There is no cost to enter, one entry per person. Winners are responsible for their own accommodation, transportation, parking and meals.  Deadline for applications is November 10.
