Event passes on sale Thursday for 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston

While action in the 2019 Tim Hortons Brier, presented by AGI, gets underway on Saturday in Brandon, Man., Brier excitement will be building to fever pitch in Kingston this week with the first ticket packages for the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier going on sale Thursday.

The 2020 edition of the Canadian Men’s Curling Championship — by far the most famous national curling championship on the planet — will be played Feb. 29-March 8 at the Leon’s Centre in Kingston — almost exactly 12 months from now.

And beginning on Thursday, at 10 a.m. ET, the first release of full-event packages will go on sale to the public after a highly successful period of pre-sales to the Kingston2020 bid supporters.

Here’s a look at what will be available on Thursday:

  • Regular Full Event Package ($525)
  • Premium Full Event Package ($550): A limited number of premium club seats and home-end seats is available.

Weekend Packages will go on sale in the fall, subject to availability. All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees.

Packages will be available online through Ticketmaster, at the Leon’s Centre box office, at curling.ca/tickets or 1-855-985-5000.

Kingston2020 bid supporters who placed a deposit were contacted directly by the Leon’s Centre Box Office last month. The email (or phone call) included instructions and a specific code and link to grant access for that customer to purchase their packages. The final cut-off for conversions is April 20. Please contact the box office immediately at 613-650-5078 if you have any questions, or CLICK HERE for more information.

The 2020 Tim Hortons Brier will mark the first time the Canadian men’s champion has been decided in Kingston since Alberta’s Matt Baldwin prevailed in 1957.

The winner of the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier will represent Canada at the 2020 World Men’s Curling Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.
