Home team schedule confirmed, new ticket packages available for 2020 Scotties


We don’t know who will be wearing the Saskatchewan colours, but we know WHEN Team Saskatchewan will be playing in the early rounds of the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

And now, fans have a chance to lock down some prime seats for the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship, which is scheduled for Feb. 15-23 at Mosaic Place in Moose Jaw.

Friday at 10 a.m. CT, a variety of new ticket offers will be available to curling fans. Here’s a look at what will be available:

  • Opening Weekend Package ($95) — First five draws on opening Saturday and Sunday
  • Championship Weekend Package ($199) — Final six draws plus tiebreaker draw if necessary. (Friday, Feb. 21-Sunday, Feb. 23).
  • Family Day Holiday Monday Day Package ($49) — Three draws on the holiday Monday at a reduced price!
  • Tuesday and Wednesday Day Package ($59) — Three draws in one day
  • Thursday Day Package ($49) — Two guaranteed draws plus tiebreaker (if necessary)

Also, in honour of the 20th Sandra Schmirler Telethon Day on the opening Sunday at the Scotties, and to celebrate a beloved Saskatchewan champion, the Scotties is launching a Celebrate Sandra Schmirler Sunday BOGO Sale! Buy a Draw 4 ticket for the opening Sunday afternoon, featuring Team Saskatchewan vs. defending champion Chelsea Carey and Team Canada for just $32.50, and you’ll also get a ticket for Draw 5 (Sunday evening) to see the home team play back-to-back for FREE! The offer is limited to the first 500 bundles, and ends Oct. 31 or when the bundles are sold out — whichever comes first!

Undoubtedly, many of those packages will be sold with a priority of seeing Team Saskatchewan in action; here’s a look at Saskatchewan’s schedule for the first five days of the Scotties while the two eight-team pools complete the preliminary round-robin:

  • Draw 1, Saturday afternoon
  • Draw 4, Sunday afternoon
  • Draw 5, Sunday evening
  • Draw 8, Monday evening
  • Draw 10, Tuesday afternoon
  • Draw 11, Tuesday evening
  • Draw 14, Wednesday evening

As well, the draw for Team Canada has also been locked in:

  • Draw 1, Saturday afternoon
  • Draw 4, Sunday afternoon
  • Draw 6, Monday morning
  • Draw 7, Monday afternoon
  • Draw 9, Tuesday morning
  • Draw 12, Wednesday morning
  • Draw 14, Wednesday evening

Opponents won’t be known until the list of provincial/territorial champions is complete in the new year following provincial/territorial playdowns.

All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees, and will be available online at curling.ca/tickets, at the Mosaic Centre box office, or by calling 306-624-2050.

The 2020 Scotties will kick off with the Wild Card Game on Feb. 14, featuring the top two teams on the Canadian Team Ranking System that didn’t qualify through their playdowns.

In addition to being a part of the world’s most famous women’s curling competition inside Mosaic Place you’ll also be a part of what will be Saskatchewan’s most famous curling party, the HeartStop Lounge — just a few indoor steps away from the arena bowl at the Moose Jaw  Ford Curling Centre. You can check out live music, have a meal and mingle with players and fellow fans from all over Canada.
