The Party’s Ready to Rock at the Scotties
When the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts comes to Kingston February 16-24 fans will see the brightest stars in women’s curling competing for the national championship at the K-Rock Centre.
But along with the amazing action on the ice, they’re also in for the party of a lifetime in the HeartStop featuring a power-packed lineup of live entertainment.
“For those who haven’t experienced live championship curling, they’re in for a real treat when they hit the HeartStop,” comments Host Chair Ken Thompson. “It’s just a great party atmosphere with so much going on all week long… and the best part is admission is included in the price of every Scotties ticket.”
The HeartStop is the place fans and competitors alike gather between and after draws to enjoy a tasty selection of food and beverages and dance to the sounds of some of Canada’s hottest bands.
It’s also the setting for Team Autograph sessions and Up Close and Personal interviews where you can meet face-to-face with the athletes. And fans that have the competitive urge can enter the daily Cool Shots competition – the small-scale version of the roaring game – with the chance to win cash prizes.
The entertainment schedule has been confirmed – and it includes something to suit everyone’s tastes!
