Season of Champions Fan Guide

Age Restrictions

Children who have celebrated their third birthday are required to have a ticket to gain admittance to a Season of Champions event. Children under three are not required to have a ticket, provided they sit on an adult’s lap. Check the event website ticket page for current event-specific single-draw ticket promotions that may apply to youth (varies by event).

Alcohol

No alcoholic beverage may be brought into the arena or the entertainment venues. Alcohol will not be sold to anyone under the legal drinking age of the host province or territory. Patrons may be required to show identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages. Violations could result in ejection and possible arrest.

BANNERS, SIGNS AND FLAGS

Banners, signs and flags are permitted in the arena and entertainment venues as long as they comply with the following guidelines:

Curling Canada reserves the right to remove any banner, sign or flag.

BUILDING TEMPERATURE

To maintain ideal ice conditions, the building may be cool. Please dress accordingly.

CAMERAS, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDERS

Personal still photography is permitted during all games. The use of flash and video cameras and support poles — including tripods — and lenses more than 12″ long is strictly prohibited.

CELL PHONES

Cell phones must be turned to the vibrate mode or shut off during all games. If your phone is on vibrate and you receive a call, please proceed to the arena concourse and have your conversation there.

Ejection

Curling Canada reserves the right to eject anyone whose behaviour is unruly or illegal. Tickets will be revoked without a refund and the individual(s) will be escorted from the premises.

FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

Curling Canada is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience at all Season of Champions events and requests that you respect the patrons around you. Facility staff will intervene to support an environment where you can enjoy the event experience free from the following:

Food & Beverages

Patrons are not permitted to bring outside food or beverages into the arena or entertainment venues. Exemptions include medical/special needs, infant/toddler needs, or food and beverages sold by the event’s contracted concessionaires.

NOISEMAKERS

Horns, whistles or any other mechanically enhanced noisemakers are not permitted.

PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED ITEMS

The following items are strictly prohibited from arena or entertainment venues:

Any item may be deemed inappropriate by management if it disrupts the enjoyment of other patrons.

Pagers

When games are in progress, the use of pagers is permitted only in the case of a medical emergency. If there is a medical emergency and paging is necessary, please contact the information desk on the arena concourse or the nearest security person.

The policies of event venue will be employed for any items not covered in these guidelines.
