Biography / Biographie:

Mrs. Caroline Ball of Grand Falls, Newfoundland, was named inducted into the Curling Hall of Fame in the curler/builder category. Mrs. Ball has not only been an outstanding curler in her native Newfoundland but she has also been a curling executive of national renown. Caroline has represented Newfoundland at the national level of ladies curling no less than 11 times (four in the Canadian Ladies Championship and six in the Senior Ladies). Caroline has also been actively involved in the administration of curling on the local, provincial and national levels. Her greatest accomplishment was in 1981 when she served as president of the Canadian Ladies Association. Caroline was inducted into the Curling Hall of Fame again in 1986 as a Canadian Ladies Curling Association past president.
