Biography / Biographie:

H.C. (Ren) Fortier was an influential curler in Quebec, both on and off the ice. He skipped the Quebec champions at the Macdonald Brier in 1933, and later would serve as a director of the Macdonald Brier. He also was the first French-Canadian president of the Thistle Curling Club in Montreal, and was given a life membership in the Royal Caledonian Curling Club of Scotland.
