In the world of high performance athletics, differences among athletes from a technical perspective are so small as to make measurement all but impossible. The vast majority of championship athletes tell us that consistency of performance has its base in the mental skills that allow the athlete to perform. The skills of mental preparation can be learned and they must be practiced. Mental Preparation Learn how to… Technical Analysis This area is what most athletes think about when they conjure up the NTC. It’s our signature skill but the way we work with athletes’ deliveries, may surprise you! We have at our disposal, the latest diagnostic equipment to help you identify technical areas where adjustment may be required. In all areas of technical analysis and adjustment, the policy of the NTC program is to empower the athlete! We are not about “slicing and dicing” your delivery. It’s just not our style! If you do not have a coach, the staff of the NTC is available to conduct practices, gather competitive data while attending games involving your team (as time permits) and actually coaching your team in non-playdown events. In playdown events, if an NTC team is the only team in the event, an NTC staff member, if asked will act as your identified coach for the event. Our full time staff member, Paul Webster, will not be coaching a team during the season, however you may find our volunteer Assistant Coaches along side you in an event.¬† We feel this can only strengthen their coaching expertise and we trust their integrity. Learn how to… Video Analysis Video analysis through software has taken over our sport in the last three years.. A number of our La Releve and National Team Program athletes have seen this software live and we are now taking this technology a step further.
