New ticket offers for Trials!

New ticket packages available for Tim Hortons Curling Trials in Saskatoon

Canada’s most intense and exciting curling event is coming to Saskatoon in November, and there are new ticket options going on sale next week.

The 2021 Tim Hortons Curling Trials, presented by AGI, will take place Nov. 20-28 at the SaskTel Centre, and will determine Canada’s four-player men’s and women’s curling teams for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Next Tuesday at 10 a.m. CST, Saskatchewan curling fans will have more ways to enjoy the first Season of Champions curling event with fans in the stands since the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier in Kingston, Ont.

All public health restrictions in Saskatoon were lifted as of July 11, meaning all seats at the SaskTel Centre are available for the Trials, and full-event packages have been selling extremely quickly, so fans will have to act quickly on these new offers.

The Championship Weekend Package is the highlight of the new offers. It features tickets to the final seven draws on the closing weekend plus any potential tiebreaker draws. Premium Lower Bowl packages are available for $289 while the Upper Bowl packages are priced at $259.

The first 2,021 championship weekend package customers will receive a Curling Canada merchandise package valued at $75! They will receive an exclusive Curling Canada scarf ($30 value, to be picked up in the event merchandise store at SaskTel Centre during the event); will get $10 off at CurlShop.ca on a $30 purchase made from Oct. 1-31; and will get $5 off an event pin and $30 off a premium item in the event merchandise store at SaskTel Centre during the event.

Other ticket offers going on sale next Tuesday:

  • Opening Weekend Package ($119) — First five draws on opening Saturday and Sunday
  • Monday/Tuesday Day Package ($59) — Two draws
  • Wednesday Day Package ($69) — Three draws
  • Thursday Day Package ($79) — Three draws

As well, there are still three options for full-event packages:

  • Standard Full Event Package ($489)
  • Premium Full Event Package ($539) — A limited number of AWAY-end and first-row upper-level seats will be made available.
  • Premium Home end ($579) — A limited number of HOME-end seats will be available.

All ticket packages are subject to standard facility and ticket service fees.

Fans can also add on a Whisky and Waffles event, brought to you by Forty Creek, on the final weekend in the World Famous Patch for just $40.

Ticket packages are available online at www.curling.ca/2021trials/tickets or by phone by calling (306) 938-7800 or 1-800-970-SEAT (7328). The SaskTel Centre Box Office is currently closed for in-person transactions. For phone inquiries, customers can leave a message and ticketing staff will respond as quickly as possible.

Leading up to the Trials, Curling Canada will be in regular contact with local, regional and national health authorities to ensure the safest possible environment for athletes and fans at the SaskTel Centre.

Nine men’s and nine women’s teams will be in Saskatoon and will play a single round-robin draw. The top three teams will reach the playoffs, with second and third-place teams meeting in semifinals, and the first-place team going straight to the final — one win away from the Olympic Games.

On the men’s side, Team John Epping (Toronto), Team Brad Gushue (St. John’s, N.L.), Team Kevin Koe (Calgary), Team Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste. Marie) and Team Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton) have all nailed down their berths into the Tim Hortons Curling Trials.

Women’s teams headed to Saskatoon in November are Team Rachel Homan (Ottawa), Team Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg), Team Kerri Einarson (Gimli, Man.) and Team Tracy Fleury (East St. Paul, Man.).

The rest of the field will be determined by late October; you can read more about the qualifying process by CLICKING HERE.
