Fans can lock down single-draw tickets for Montana’s Brier showdowns in Regina
Saskatchewan is curling country, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that tickets for the 2024 Montana’s Brier, presented by AGI, are selling extremely well.
The Canadian men’s curling championship is scheduled for March 1-10 at the Brandt Centre in Regina, and beginning Tuesday, single-draw tickets for the preliminary round will go on sale. Even better, the draw times have been set for Brad Gushue’s reigning champion Team Canada from St. John’s, N.L., as well as the yet-to-be-named home team from Saskatchewan, along with the two Pre-Qualified teams — 2023 Montana’s Brier runner-up Team Matt Dunstone of Winnipeg as well as Team Brendan Bottcher of Calgary, who both earned their berths based on their 2022-23 Canadian Team Ranking System performance.
Among the early schedule highlights is a Saturday night (March 2, 6 p.m. CST) tussle between Team Canada and Team Saskatchewan, which should set the tone for an electric week of action at the Brandt Centre.
Team Dunstone and Team Bottcher will be in the other nine-team round-robin pool, and will go head to head in Draw 12 on Tuesday night (March 5). The rest of the matchups won’t be known until all provincial and territorial champions are declared.
