I am working to start a learn to curl kit for arenas on the East Coast of the United States. Our goal is to have two sets of rocks, 32 brooms, eight hacks, eight stabilizers, step-on sliders, a scribe, ice brush and a pebbler to be able to loan to interested arenas for learn to curl events. Hopefully these events can help gain the interest to establish new curling clubs in the United States.
We are well on our way to our goal. Currently, we have secured 27 rocks, 32 brooms, three Torian temporary hacks, a scribe and a pebbler for this project. We wanted to reach out to curlers who might have old or used equipment that is gathering dust, anything that might assist us in completing this project. We can possibly arrange pick-up of items in parts of Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Please let us know if you might have items that will help us reach our goal.
