The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. will remain as an official Business Partner of Curling Canada.

A new long-term contract will keep The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. as the official pin supplier to Curling Canada. The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. has been an Official Business Partner since 2002, but the company’s relationship with Curling Canada dates back to the 1970s. “The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. is very pleased to continue our long standing partnership with Curling Canada, “ said Barry Taman, vice-president of The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. “As a business we have always been a strong supporter and promoter of the sport of curling locally, nationally and internationally. Our business started in a local curling club here in Regina as a curling equipment supplier, to now where you find our lapel pins in curling clubs and bonspiels worldwide.  It is a pleasure to work with Greg Stremlaw, his Curling Canada staff and their partners promoting the great sport of curling.” The partnership means The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd. will continue to produce the highly sought-after official pins for each of Curling Canada’s Season of Champions events, in addition to pin sets for those championship that feature event sponsors. “Pin trading is a tradition at our Season of Champions events, and a big reason why these pins are so coveted is their quality, and that’s why it was such an easy decision to move forward with The Pin People-Laurie Artiss Ltd.,” said Greg Stremlaw, Chief Executive Officer of Curling Canada. “Their history with the sport, and their respect for it, make this a natural partnership and we’re ecstatic to see it continue.”
