Yellowknife Curling Club
The Yellowknife Curling Club is seeking a Head Ice Technician for the 2026–27 curling season.
We are a non-profit organization operating a 6-sheet curling facility in the Northwest Territories. Our club hosts multiple weekly leagues, youth programs, rentals, and community events throughout the season.
The Head Ice Technician is responsible for the installation, preparation, and maintenance of curling ice surfaces to ensure safe, consistent, and professional playing conditions throughout the season. The successful candidate will work closely with the Manager, volunteers, and facility partners to maintain ice quality and support the club’s leagues, programs, and events.
Seasonal compensation is anticipated to be in the range of $45,000 – $55,000. This is based on an estimated workload of 1100 – 1200 hours between Sept 01, 2026 and Apr 15, 2027.
