Pre-requisites:   

– Getting Started as a NCCP Curling Coach (learn.curling.ca) 
– Make Ethical Decisions (coach.ca) 

About the Course: 

Club Coach: Youth is a one (1) day workshop designed to train coaches/instructors who will primarily support athletes in the FUNdamentals (U9) and Learn to Train (U12) stages of the Long-Term Curler Development Framework in a club environment. 

Club Coach Youth coaches will be able to implement group programming to support age and stage appropriate skill development in a FUN and safe manner.

• Game Orientation 
• Teaching the Delivery & Brushing Skills 
• Program Management 
• Games, Skills and Activities
  

NCCP status (after pre-requisites & workshop):  Trained Club Coach Youth 

Minimum age:  Fourteen (14) years old at the start of the course
