The Callie Curling Club is seeking an **Assistant Ice Technician** for the upcoming curling season.
Located in Regina, Saskatchewan, the Callie Curling Club is a premier 12-sheet seasonal curling facility that hosts leagues, bonspiels, championships, and community events throughout the season.
🥌###Position Overview
This hands-on role is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in detail-oriented work, enjoys learning new skills, and wants to play a key role in providing exceptional ice conditions for our members and guests.
Working alongside our Lead Ice Technician, you will learn the craft of curling ice preparation and maintenance while helping ensure the facility operates at the highest standard.
🥌### Key Responsibilities
* Assist with daily ice maintenance and preparation
* Help with pebbling, scraping, nipping, and other ice-making duties
* Monitor and maintain ice quality throughout the season
* Help ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and visitors
* Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
* Willingness to learn specialized ice-making techniques
* Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
