The Host Committee for the 2014 National Junior Curling Championship is excited to have this event awarded to Liverpool, NS. We now undertake the task of ensuring that we offer an experience that the curling world will talk about for years to come.
That is where you come in. Volunteers are key to hosting an event of this magnitude. We are offering an experience to see the championship from a different angle, meet new friends and gain experience and new skills. We are looking for people of all ages and skills for positions such as ticket sellers, security, scorekeepers, merchandise sellers, construction, flag bearers, ice maintenance and lots more.
What we are offering is a volunteer package that includes, an all access pass to the 9 day event, an official 2014 Championship vest for you to keep, access to the volunteer lounges stocked by Tim Horton’s and a meal ticket if you work a double shift. What we ask of you as a volunteer is that you commit to a minimum of 2 shifts (2-3 hrs per shift) during the 9 days and purchase your event pass for $75 or $25 for youth 17yrs and under as of Feb 1st.
If all this sounds great to you, please complete the Volunteer Application Form attached and provide a criminal records check. Information on how to obtain your CRC is also attached.
