Join us and be a part of this incredible week of curling! As a volunteer, you will be able to experience this world-class event from a unique, behind-the-scenes perspective where you will have the opportunity to be up close and personal with some of the best curlers in the world.
Volunteers are the backbone of events – it is the value of these extra hands that enables organizations to offer activities that may not otherwise happen. Their meaningful contributions both behind and in front of the scenes are indispensable and their tireless efforts are often as profound as the event itself.
The Tim Hortons Brier brings together the best in curling from competitors, to spectators, to volunteers – becoming a community with one goal in mind – a great curling event. Volunteers invest their time, ensuring that this year’s championship is not only successful, but memorable for all parties – from organization to participant level, attendees and everyone in between.
The 2018 Tim Hortons Brier in Regina, Saskatchewan will require 750 volunteers to fill a wide range of positions in the months leading up to the event, as well as during the week of the championship. Duties range from roles in 50/50 sales, to merchandising, to ceremonies.
On behalf of SaskEnergy, Saskatchewan’s natural gas distribution, transmission and storage company, I want to take this opportunity to invite you to be part of the Tim Hortons Brier volunteer team.
At SaskEnergy, we know volunteerism and community participation play an important part in building the spirit of our province. That’s why we have proudly been the Champion of Volunteers for countless events over the past decade and tens of thousands of volunteers.
Join the volunteer team by simply completing the volunteer application. Once submitted, your application will be processed in 4-6 weeks and you will receive notification shortly after that. We look forward to seeing you at the rink!
Ken From, President and CEO, SaskEnergy
