The Ford World Men’s Rocks… and That’s Great for the Socks!
The 2013 Ford World Men’s Curling Championship will be on the ice in Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, March 30-April 7 and the Host Committee has announced that single draw tickets for the first 14 draws go on sale November 24.
Priced from just $20, tickets to the Ford World Men’s are a great way to put rocks in the socks of family and friends during the holiday season.
“So many people are looking for reasonably priced gift ideas at this time of year,” commented Host Co-Chair Keith Dagg. “Single draw tickets for championship curling offer the perfect solution… whether it’s for the hard-core fans or the growing number of people who love watching the game on television but have never been in the arena for the live experience.”
Even though the draw schedule is yet to be determined fans will have the opportunity to see Team Canada in action several times over the course of the first 14 draws from Saturday through Wednesday.
Those looking for a bigger shot of championship curling action can choose from two weekend Mini Packs. First Rocks is a two-day package that reserves the same seat for the first five draws on opening weekend at a price of $99. Last Rocks guarantees a seat for the final three days including potential tie-breakers, playoffs and the championship final. The five-draw package is priced at $149.
Every ticket also includes complimentary admission to The Original 16 Patch – curling’s legendary party place featuring a great selection of live bands, food and beverages.
Plus, fans have the opportunity to meet the competitors in person at Team Autograph sessions and the informal Up Close and Personal interviews. And, they can play for a championship of their own in the Cool Shots competition – the small-scale version of the roaring game.
So pick your favourite teams and stock up for the draws when they’re on the ice!
