Venue Information

Thunder Bay’s Fort William Gardens is a 4,680 seat multi-sport facility nestled a few blocks from the Kaministiquia riverfront.The building also houses the popular Fort William Curling Club, which will become home to “Curling’s Party Place” – the Original 16 Patch during the Scotties! Accessible seating has been added for this event. To purchase accessible seats, please contact the box office in person or at 807-625-2929.


Shuttles

To make getting to the event easier for fans and volunteers, a free shuttle service before and after each draw is in the works! With pick-ups from surrounding hotels and local park-and-ride locations, there is no need to worry about parking at the Gardens.


For the information of guests travelling to the 2025 Scotties in Thunder Bay, our shuttle buses will stop at the following hotels for all draws. There will be a shuttle to the Fort William Gardens for each draw and a return shuttle to the hotels after each draw. Details of times and routes will be published shortly.

Park and Ride 

Due to limited parking near the Fort William Gardens, park-and-ride services will also be offered from the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition Grounds and the Valhalla Hotel to the Fort William Gardens. The schedule and details will be published soon. 


The history of the Scotties

The 2025 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, marks the 44th consecutive year of Kruger Products sponsorship of the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship.

Kruger Products is the longest national corporate sponsor of amateur sport in Canada. It was in St. John’s at the 1981 Lassie that Scott Paper Limited officially made the commitment to the Canadian Curling Association (now known as Curling Canada) to sponsor the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. Since then, the efforts of thousands of volunteers, along with the Curling Canada staff, have resulted in one of Canada’s best-known women’s sporting events — the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.
