Prince Albert Golf and Curling Centre, Saskatchewan

The Prince Albert Golf and Curling Centre is in the City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The facility has an eight sheet curling rink and a fully licenced lounge facility known as the Rock & Iron Clubhouse. This includes a restaurant/lounge as well as meeting and banquet facilities.

PAGCC has a complete schedule of recreational and competitive curling for men, woman, mixed, seniors and juniors. Membership for the 2019/2020 curling season totaled over 300 members. The PAGCC runs 11 leagues per week, hosts approximately 14 bonspiels per season and also rents ice to groups and individuals.

The PAGCC invites applications for the permanent position of curling coordinator. This position reports to the Board of Directors and will have complete responsibility for the curling business. This includes planning and coordinating all curling activities and coordinating these activities with Rock &Iron thru the general manager. The successful candidate will work with the general manager, office staff, league representatives, Curl Sask , Curl Canada and other groups and individuals to acquire local, provincial and national curling competitions; schedule all curling activities and coordinate curling fund raising.

Qualifications include:
Experience working with community groups in the development, coordination and evaluation of sports and recreation programs.
Strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Recommended education additions include: ( preferred but not mandatory)
A degree or diploma in recreation or related field
Experience in working with other curling organizations
