Curling Canada announced today that Proven® Seed, a proprietary seed brand of Nutrien Ag Solutions, is joining the Curling Canada family as Official Suppliers to Curling Canada and its Season of Champions series of events.

This partnership will cover all Season of Champions events, including the 2021 Home Hardware Canadian Curling Pre-Trials, presented by New Holland; the 2021 Tim Hortons Canadian Curling Trials, presented by AGI; the 2022 Continental Cup, presented by Access Storage; the 2022 Scotties Tournament of Hearts; the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier, presented by AGI; and the 2022 World Women’s Curling Championship, presented by Nature’s Bounty.

“We are excited to partner with Curling Canada to celebrate a sport that is so accessible and engaging,” said Kelly Freeman, Regional Manager for Nutrien Ag Solutions Canada. “Our sponsorship provides a great opportunity to showcase the products and services we are able to provide growers, and our commitment to    local sport and communities.”

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is Western Canada’s leading provider of agricultural services and products, which includes Proven Seed. Through a trusted partnership spanning more than 220 retail locations, Nutrien Ag Solutions and their retail network of growers have a shared mission to create new agricultural solutions for future generations.

“I don’t think it’s going to surprise anyone that our sport has deep roots within the agriculture community, so we are extremely excited to have an industry leader such as Nutrien Ag Solutions and the Proven Seed brand as an Official Supplier,” said Katherine Henderson, Chief Executive Officer of Curling Canada. “There is outstanding value in being a part of our championship events, which are highly viewed and attended, and I know this will be beneficial to both organizations.”
