It’s the hottest ticket in Halifax, and in just seven days, you’ll have your chance to buy tickets to your preferred single games at the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials, presented by Connect Hearing.
But you’d better be prepared to act quickly as sales of full-event and playoff-weekend packages have exceeded expectations and space is getting tight at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, which will host the Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials Nov. 22-30.
The Trials will decide the four-player women’s and men’s teams that will be nominated to the Canadian Olympic Committee to represent Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina, Italy.
Single-draw tickets, ranging in price from $25 to $85 depending on the draw and seat location, will go on sale Thursday, Oct. 2, at 10 a.m. AT.
As well, Curling Canada’s commitment to providing affordable options for families means youth tickets will be available for prices ranging from $5 to $10 for preliminary-round draws and $20 to $30 for playoff games!
Eight women’s and eight men’s teams will be competing in Halifax, playing a seven-game round-robin draw leading to a three-team playoff, and, ultimately, a best of-three final series in each gender that kicks off on Nov. 28. The full Montana’s Trials schedule can be SEEN HERE.
In an event that will feature a multitude of must-watch games in every draw, it’s safe to say that the eyes of Halifax will largely be on the hometown hopefuls, Team Christina Black, which opens the 2025 Montana’s Trials against four-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion Team Kerri Einarson of Gimli, Man., while that same opening women’s draw will have two-time reigning Scotties and World champs Team Rachel Homan of Ottawa playing Winnipeg’s Team Kate Cameron.
The men’s opening draw highlight is an all-Calgary clash that features reigning Montana’s Brier champion Team Brad Jacobs playing Team Kevin Koe, while four-time Montana’s Brier champs Team Brad Gushue of St. John’s, N.L., is up against Trials rookies Team Rylan Kleiter of Saskatoon.
