Saskatchewan curling fans have made it abundantly clear that they want to be a part of the 100th anniversary edition of the Montana’s Brier, presented by AGI.
Ticket packages for the 2027 Montana’s Brier, scheduled for Feb. 26-March 7 at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, have been flying off the shelves, especially the Championship Weekend Package.
The excitement level, though, will ramp up even further on Oct. 16 when single-draw tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. (all times CST).
With round-robin draw times now locked in for reigning champion Team Matt Dunstone of Winnipeg, the host team from Saskatchewan and two pre-qualified teams based on their 2025-26 Canadian Team Ranking System (CTRS) standings, fans have a great opportunity to lock down their preferred seats for some tantalizing round-robin games along with the playoffs.
There will be at least two Saskatchewan teams in action — in addition to the team that wins the Saskatchewan men’s title in the new year, Saskatoon’s Team Tyler Tardi is in the field as a CTRS pre-qualified team, as is Calgary’s Olympic gold-medallists Team Brad Jacobs.
The Saskatchewan reps will get the early spotlight as they’ll take on Team Alberta-Jacobs in a Saturday night Pool A showdown that should have the SaskTel Centre close to capacity.
Team Canada-Dunstone and Team Saskatchewan-Tardi, meanwhile, are in Pool B and are on the ice, and they’ll go head to head to close out round-robin play on Thursday, March 4, at 7 p.m.
Fourteen provincial/territorial Member Association champions will be competing, and the 18-team field, split into two nine-team pools, will be rounded out by the top-ranked team on the 2026-27 CTRS that didn’t qualify through provincial/territorial playdowns.
There will be no shortage of epic moments to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the best-known national men’s curling championship in the world. More than 65 past Brier champions are already confirmed to be in attendance on opening weekend. Fans will have opportunities to celebrate 100 years of Brier history through special appearances, interactive experiences, and opportunities to connect with legends of the game. The Patch, located in the CNH Training Centre, will be the social hub for the 100th anniversary celebrations.
Single-draw tickets start at $22.50, and go up to $90 depending on the draw and seat location. Youth tickets are just $10 or $15 for all draws. Curling Canada is committed to providing affordable options so the entire family can enjoy this world-class championship.
