Volunteers generate Brier Buzz at the International Children’s Festival

The 2011 Tim Horton’s Brier was actively involved at the International Children’s Festival on Saturday, June 5th in London. This was the 20th Anniversary of the Children’s Festival and it has become a tradition of many families to attend the weekend long festival which is held outside the Covent Garden Market; there are live performances and activities available to children of all ages. The volunteers were on hand promoting the event and creating awareness about curling as families tried their hands at the ‘Rocks and Rings’ game. There was something for everyone at the Brier booth; children were decorated with temporary tattoos and parents could enter to win tickets to the opening weekend of the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier. Despite the threatening of rain, it turned out to be a beautiful day, and attracted hundreds of children to participate in the fun and festivities.
