Another Busy Week of Promotions for Brier Volunteers

It was another busy week of promotions for the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier. Community events in London and surrounding regions had Brier volunteers on-site at the International Plowing Match in St. Thomas from Tuesday, September 21st to Saturday, September 25th, as well as at the NHL Pre-Game Block Party at the John Labatt Centre on Thursday, September 23rd. At the International Plowing Match approximately 100,000 people went through the gates over the course of the 5 day event. The Tim Hortons Brier partnered with the St. Thomas Curling Club and volunteers had the rocks and rings game set-up, handed out brochures, and temporary tattoos and continued to raise awareness about the Tim Hortons Brier coming to London in March. On Thursday night, as thousands of people descended on Talbot Street, outside the John Labatt Centre, for the NHL Pre-Game Block Party; the volunteers continued the September Prize Draw, and promoted ticket sales for the upcoming Tim Hortons Brier.
