The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier promotions team was on hand at London’s John Labatt Centre on Thursday, November 11 during the Canada-Russia Super Series junior hockey showdown.
On this Remembrance Day evening, the Ontario Hockey League’s best players shutout the touring Russians 4-0. In less than four month’s time, the JLC’s ice surface will be transformed into the most important curling venue in the country.
The nation’s best rock-tossers will have earned the right to compete for the most coveted trophy in curling, as the 2011 Tim Hortons Brier kicks off nine days of action on March 5th.
London Brier Chairman Peter Inch was part of the team promoting the popular Mini-Flex ticket packages in advance and between periods of the game.
