The Brewster Bunch is Coming Back to Canada

Tom Brewster’s introduction to international curling came in 1995 when he skipped his young team to victory in the World Junior Curling Championships.

He returned to the world stage in 2002, winning a bronze medal as the alternate on the Warwick Smith squad at the Ford World Men’s Curling Championship.  But it was 2011 when Brewster really came into his own, leading Scotland into Regina for the Ford World Men’s. Brewster – along with Greg Drummond, Scott Andrews and Michael Goodfellow – made it all the way to the final, settling for the silver medal after a defeat at the hands of Jeff Stoughton’s Team Canada in the championship game. The Scots will all be back competing for Team World at the 2012 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling, January 12 – 15 in the Langley Events Centre.  With Stoughton leading the charge for Team North America, there’s a good chance a re-match is in the making!
