Take 5 for the Scotties in Red Deer!

The Host Committee for the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, coming to Red Deer February 18 – 26, has announced the launch of the new “Take 5” ticket mini packs. “We’re so excited to have the Scotties back after the tremendous success of the 2004 championship when we took second place in all-time attendance,” said Sherri Ryckman, Host Committee Chair.  “Now with these new ticket options, we’ve got our sights set on first spot!” The Take 5 ticket packages are specifically designed for fans that can’t be there for all nine days of action, but still want to experience the excitement of live championship curling. The packages go on sale Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 am with two options: the first five draws for $99 or the last five draws for $149.  The Old Classic full event pass will still be available at a price of $329 for fans that want to take in all 22 draws. Full event parking passes ($80) and Opening Banquet tickets ($80 each or $600 for a table) will also be available November 5th. It was also announced that the Rocks In Your Socks ticket promotion will be introduced Saturday, November 26th.  Priced at $39 for a pair, it makes a great stocking stuffer for the curling fans on your holiday list.  The offer applies only to draws 1 through 17 – which includes the Family Day holiday on Monday, February 20th. “All our ticket packages would make ideal Christmas gifts,” noted Ryckman.  “And you have to remember that every ticket includes admission to the biggest party in town at the HeartStop Lounge.” “You Gotta Be There” at Westerner Park to be part of Scotties history in the making.  Take 5 mini packs are available by clicking here.
