The Canadian Curling Association (CCA) today announced that Bell is the official telecommunications partner of the CCA.
“It is with great pleasure that the Canadian Curling Association has entered into a strategic partnership with Canada’s largest communications company,” said Greg Stremlaw, Chief Executive Officer of the CCA. “We welcome Bell as the official telecommunications partner of the Canadian Curling Association, and look forward to a highly successful relationship activating our brands together going forward.”
The CCA’s Season of Champions gets underway in late November with the Capital One Canada Cup in Cranbrook and concludes in late March with the Ford World Women’s in Lethbridge. All Season of Champions events receive extensive live coverage on TSN and RDS platforms, the official media partners of the CCA.
“Bell is pleased to partner with the CCA to support such an iconic sport in Canada,” said Loring Phinney, Vice President, Corporate Marketing at Bell. “With Bell’s ability to provide unmatched telecommunications services and team up with Canada’s leading sports broadcasters TSN and RDS, we look forward to providing unprecedented support for the sport of curling for years to come.”
Bell joins a list of prominent companies as official suppliers for curling’s Season of Champions, such as The Dominion (The Dominion of Canada General Insurance Company) and AMJ Campbell Van Lines, while EventMax, Laurie Artiss Limited, Jet Ice and Mondetta continue as core business partners to the Canadian Curling Association.
