Cool Shots is Hot for the Scotties

The Cool Shots competition leading up to the 2012 Scotties Tournament of Hearts hits the boards January 23 – 25 at the Innisfail Curling Club – with cash prizes and event passes on the line! Cools Shots is the small-scale version of the roaring game played on shuffleboard-style tables.  It’s become a favourite with fans at Season of Champions events… and now the action is branching out to local clubs. Entrants will compete in teams of two shooters with prizes of $350, $100 and $50 up for grabs along with Opening Weekend event passes for the Scotties.  And, for every 15 teams that enter, the club will receive a pair of full event ticket packages. The top three finishers will move on to the Cool Shots championships taking place  on the opening Saturday of the Scotties in the HeartStop Lounge, with cash prizes of $1,000, $350 and $150 at stake.  Plus, the home club of the winning team will be awarded $5,000.
