The Big Push is Underway for Mini Packs at the Scotties

The launch of the First Rocks and Last Rocks Mini Packs has provided the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts volunteer team with an extra spark to promote the upcoming Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. They were right in the middle of all the early-season action at the Napanee and Cataraqui curling clubs this past weekend, meeting with competitors and fans to let everyone know the Scotties is making its first trip to Kingston February 16-24, 2013 at the K-Rock Centre. The weekend’s work started at the Napanee & District Curling Club’s annual Men’s Open Cash Bonspiel, November 9-11 featuring a field of the top 32 teams in the region.  Along with their promotional duties, the Scotties crew contributed a pair of First Rocks ticket packages for an event raffle. On November 10 the promotions team was on the scene at the Cataraqui Golf and Country Club for the City Championships that also included competitors from the Garrison and Royal Kingston curling clubs. The next major date on the Scotties promotions calendar is November 17 when the volunteers will march through the streets of downtown Kingston for the Santa Claus Parade, marking the start of the festive season.  The parade will be followed by the annual tree-lighting ceremony in Springer Market Square. “You Gotta Be There” for the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts.  Pick up your Mini Packs today by clicking here.
